Community Groups
Each year, the Kelmscott Agricultural Society assists many community groups. We assist in one of two ways:
- We engage community groups to provide a volunteer workforce to assist with tasks in setting up, during, or packing down our events. The annual Kelmscott Agricultural Show is a prime example of this – We use groups to help run our entry gates, assist with parking, help with the set up / pack down of the grounds/hall
- We provide space free of charge for community groups to come set up at our events to promote their group and sell their wares to fundraise. This helps them to increase their groups profile in the community, help drive an increase in their membership and assist with raising funds.
Without the support from the community groups, events like the Kelmscott Agricultural Show just wouldn’t run. Our Society is very appreciative of the community groups who are involved.
